I left my nursing career for adventure and never looked back.

I host camping trips where my friends show up with nothing but themselves and I handle the rest — power, water, food, music, fire, shelter, all of it.

You’re not crazy for wanting more. You just haven’t started yet.

Emma Sinclair

I’m Emma. I spent seven years as a nurse — labor and delivery, then the ICU during Covid. I gave everything I had to my patients and it made me realize how short life really is. So I made a decision that sounded completely insane: I quit, bought a 29-foot expedition RV and fully built a Jeep Gladiator, filled them both with more gear than most people own in a lifetime, and drove into the desert.

Now I travel full-time. I host camping trips where my friends show up with nothing but themselves and I handle the rest — power, water, food, music, fire, shelter, all of it. I film the whole thing. And I’m building this channel to show you what happens when you stop waiting for your life to start.

This site is where I share everything: the gear that makes it work, the places we go, the things I’ve learned, and the occasional guide for anyone who wants to build something like this themselves.

About Me

The Setup

The Wanderbox expedition RV camped in the mountains

The Wanderbox Outpost

29 feet on a Ford F-600 chassis with a 6.7-liter diesel, 41-inch off-road tires, and hydraulic suspension that adjusts itself automatically.

24 kilowatt-hours of lithium battery, 1,600 watts of solar, 150 gallons of fresh water with four-stage filtration from any source, and three-zone diesel heating that runs in a blizzard.

This thing goes anywhere, stays indefinitely, and keeps the group powered, fed, and comfortable without plugging into a single thing. It’s not a camper — it’s a basecamp.

The Jeep Gladiator

Jeep’s desert-rated truck — built to go where the Wanderbox can’t follow.

Warn winch, Alu-Cab canopy, Decked drawer system, iKamper rooftop tent, and Baja Designs lighting to turn midnight into noon.

When the road runs out, this keeps going. It flat tows behind the RV on every trip and doubles as a guest bedroom to share my adventures with friends.
